My favourite bit of our Off The Latch review

'No doubt you will consider me very frivolous, but in the weeks after my encounter with Off The Latch, I’ve increasingly found myself thinking that the stall functioned a little like Bagpuss’ fictional old shop, a place in which objects await the new life to be leant by someone’s imagination. The artists here know that thrifty recycling is in fashion right now, but it’s clear that their ambition lies beyond mere utility: they want us to explore the poetry of objects and its resulting potency within our emotional lives.'
